Danville Ambucs 2010 Board of Directors

We would like to welcome our brand new president, Lisa Martin!

Don't worry, Lisa, we won't give you too much trouble.

Our wonderful Board of Directors

Become A Member

Big Hat Day!

There are basically three ways to be involved with the Danville Chapter of AMBUCS. You may be an Active Member, Friends Member, or a Volunteer. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact our President.

Active Membership

Members are required to pay their dues, participate in at least one fund-raising or community service project sponsored by the Chapter per year, and regularly attend chapter meetings.

A $25 application fee is due with your application and dues will be billed once you are approved by the board as a new member. The $140 annual contribution includes National, District, and Local Dues as well as your Living Endowment contribution. Payment plans are available, and you may pay for lunch with your dues or at the door.

Friends Membership

Friends Members are just that - friends of AMBUCS. For a small $25 annual contribution (which covers your National Friends Dues) you will receive the National newsletter, the Danville newsletter, and will be among the first called when we need people to help us with our service projects, fundraisers - and of course our socials!

This level of membership is really for those who wish to help but do not wish to be a part of the busy core operation of the chapter. Most of the $140 annual contribution of an active member goes to support AMBUCS at the District, Regional, and National levels. If you wish to volunteer from time to time and donate to your local AMBUCS - please consider a Friends Membership along with an additional contribution. Thank you!

Volunteer

We love volunteers! Not everyone is a 'joiner' and many folks just want to help out with one or two of our events each year. That is great - we need the help! If you would, please take just a moment and contact our President and let them know what you would like to do. When the event is coming up, we will contact you to see if you are still interested - but we will not pressure!
