March 2011

Every March we host the AMBUCS Home and Business Expo at the Palmer Arena. Featuring more than 75 exhibitors, numerous stage acts, and lots of giveaways the Expo is a spring fixture in Danville.

The Home and Business Expo brings businesses from all over east central Illinois to Danville to showcase their products and services. Thousands of area residents visit the show over the weekend.

We are proud to provide this service to Danville. In many communities presenting an Expo of this size requires city or media ownership, a large staff, and a variety of other complications. An Expo brings business to our area and helps to grease the wheels of commerce.

AMBUCS hires an Expo Coordinator to act as liason and to run the overall operation of the show. For the last 10 years that Coordinator has also been an AMBUC (a tradition we continue to follow). AMBUCS volunteers assist with the preparation for the show, staff the show, and assist exhibitors by staffing their booths so they can take well-earned breaks throughout the weekend. This is of particular assistance to the smaller businesses.
